Tools I love

I spent a lot of time finding out what works for me. I enjoy reading and looking at what tools developers are currently using, so here is my list:

OS

  • Pop_OS! - Created by System76 this is the Linux distribution I use the most. It is Ubuntu based. With 24.04 it also comes with System76's desktop environment, COSMIC.

Software

  • Emacs - Highly customizable text editor. This has slowly become my home for everything. You can find my Emacs literate config here at my Codeberg.
  • Zen Browser - My current web browser.
  • Virt-Manager - For my virtual machines.
  • Oh My ZSH - ZSH framework for when I have to use the terminal

Apps

  • PikaPods - Easy way to host certain apps.
  • Codeberg - Open-source GitHub alternative.
  • Hugo - Open-source static site generator written in Go. This website is built using Hugo.
  • Flexoki - The colorscheme for this website. It was created by Steph Ango who is the CEO of Obsidian.
